Owner Support Program
There are many reasons an owner may feel they're no longer able to care for their pets. It can be distressing and overwhelming. We understand that most owners who decide to rehome their pets don’t actually want to—they just don’t feel they have any other alternative.
If you're currently struggling to care for your dog, reach out to us. We offer judgement free assessments and will help you build an action plan with the goal of keeping you and your dog together.

While we can’t help with immediate rehoming needs, we may be able to help you find a new home for your dog if there truly is no other choice. Please note that it can take weeks or months to find a new home for a dog. We can only help with rehoming if you're able to keep your dog with you until we find a new home. If rehoming is the only option, we require that the dog be:

- Finding affordable vet care
- Recommending a behaviorist or trainer who
can evaluate troubling behavior - Offering safe management plans for dogs living
with children or elderly family members - Referring you to a realtor who can help you find
housing that will accept your dog

- up to date on shots
- spayed/neutered
- a good breed ambassador (meaning temperamentally sound, friendly to people)
